Graduating Class of 2024
It was a morning of celebration, laughter, tears and memories, as our Year 12 Class of 2024 graduated from BCC.
As each graduating student entered the BCC hall, they were applauded and cheered by their fellow students, staff and parents. The graduation ceremony included a beautiful rendition of ‘A New Direction’ by the Voiceworx and staff choir, Prep students performed ‘This Little Light of Mine’ and presented torches to Year 12 graduates, and the 2024 College Captains presented their final address.
College Captain Nyria thanked BCC staff, parents and families, for their unwavering support.
“It has been an honour to grow up with you all, to stand with you through the highs and the lows, to laugh, to celebrate... thank you BCC, it’s been an amazing 13 years!” Nyria said.
Fellow College Captain Finn echoed his thanks to parents and staff.
“On behalf of Grade 12 I’d like to thank the parents for the sacrifices you’ve made, for the time and care you’ve put into helping us become who we are today,” Finn said.
College Vice Captain Isabella reminisced on the precious memories she has from her time at BCC.
“These memories and friendships are what have helped shape us become who we are today, and I wouldn’t trade any of them for the world,” Isabella said.
College Vice Captain Reid encouraged his fellow graduates to not lose sight of what truly matters.
“We have had so many people support us along the way: our families, friends, and teachers," Reid said.
"Let us remember that while we are excited to chase our dreams, it is the connections we have forged that will carry us forward no matter how nervous we are about the future" he said.
Congratulations class of 2024! We pray the Lord’s richest blessings on your future. Know that you are forever part of our BCC community and we are cheering you on!
