On the recommendation of the Queensland government, the College will remain closed on Friday, March 31. This announcement is as a result of the severe weather being experienced from Cyclone Debbie. The Queensland government have asked schools to remain closed tomorrow in order to ensure the safety of children and their parents. We are grateful for your cooperation under these difficult circumstances and pray that all families remain safe in coming days. As the weather settles down, we trust that BCC families will enjoy a refreshing holiday and a blessed Easter. College reception will be closed tomorrow but will open again next Monday, April 3. School will resume on Tuesday April 18.
As announced by the Deputy Premier, all schools will be closed between Agnes Water to the NSW border today. In order to ensure the safety for all, please keep your children home from school today. If your children are currently at school, please come to collect them. If you are unable to collect your children, staff will be at the school to supervise until they are able to be collected. Updates will be provided on this website and the College Facebook page and closed group regarding school tomorrow.
Students, parents, and staff share stories of their experiences at BCC.
