Celebrating academic success

Middle and Senior School students joined with their parents and carers, BCC board members, special guests and teaching staff to celebrate their academic success, growth and achievements over 2023.

Over 160 awards were presented to students including:

The Diligence Award
- awarded to students who consistently apply themselves in every class.

The Academic Excellence Award
- awarded to students who have an average GPA of at least 4.3 in the Middle School and 4.2 in the Senior School with no less than a C in any subject.

The Top of Subject Awards
– which recognises the highest achieving student in the subject, in their year level.

The Highest Academic Achiever Award
- presented to the student with the highest results across all subjects in their year group.

The evening also included performances and presentations from students showcasing their learning and achievements over the year.

The evening also included the announcement of special awards, the college DUX for 2023 and 2024 College Captains, Prefect Body and Middle School Captains.

 - 2023 College Company Award for Christian Character – Jessica Hill
 - Principal’s Award – Cody Muller
 - Ampol Best All-Rounder Award – Jessica Hill, Lily Mason and Lilly Puusaari
 - Mayor’s Medals – Angus Rehbein and Matthew Udal
 - BCC DUX 2023 – Jessica Hill
