We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and innovative education professional to join our dynamic leadership team, focusing on student-related matters for our Middle and Senior School (Years 7-12). COMMENCE: July 2025, Term 3. 

TENURE: Full-Time position, 0.50 FTE Teaching load, 0.50 FTE Leadership.

ROLE: The Director of Students will oversee and be responsible for the leadership of student safety, behaviour, leadership, culture, restorative justice and pastoral care. The Director of Students will lead our student Year Coordinators team as well as complete a 0.50 FTE teaching load. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promote a culture driven by the College’s values and play a key role in managing the tone throughout Middle and Senior School.
  • Lead the development and implementation of appropriate pastoral care programs that challenge students to develop skills of critical thinking and values-based decisions, whilst supporting the social and emotional progress of students.
  • Oversee the behaviour management of students in a pastoral context and support staff in the implementation of student behaviour management.
  • Lead and support students, staff and parent/caregivers in using a restorative approach to resolve issues.
  • Lead the Year Coordinators and assist in the planning and preparation of Mental Health and Wellbeing days, incursions, excursions, and events as necessary.
  • Provide Year Coordinators with the professional learning, encouragement and empowerment required to be organised, professional, and proactive.
  • Oversee and implement best practice in wellbeing policies and reporting
