Getting ready for 2023

We’re looking forward to a great 2023 school year! Here is some key information to help you prepare and get organised.

Start of Term 1

School begins on 23 January for Prep to Year 7, Year 11 Peer Mentors and new students.
School begins 24 January for all other students.

Uniform

New BCC uniforms can be purchased from Shawline Embroidery

Secondhand uniforms can be purchased online or in person from the Secondhand uniform shop

Over the coming weeks, the BCC Secondhand uniform shop will be open at the following additional times:

Monday 5 December between 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm
Tuesday 6 December between 8.00 am and 9.00 am

2023

Monday 16 January between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm
Tuesday 17 January between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm
Wednesday 18 January between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm

Family Administration Days

Thursday 19 January between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm
Friday 20 January between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm

School bags, house shirts, Adventure Bibles and Jolly Dictionary

BCC school bags, coloured house shirts, Adventure Bibles and Jolly Dictionaries (as specified on the stationery list) can be purchased from the BCC Main Reception. 

Operating Hours during school holidays:

Office Open (8:30am - 3:00pm) - 12-16 December 2022
Office Closed - 19 December 2022 - 6 January 2023
Office Open (8:30am 0 3:00pm) - 9-20 January 2023

Stationery and booklists

Students are required to supply stationery as per their year-level lists:

AASTAT provides a packing service and a pre-filled list that can be ordered online.

Students can purchase their stationery from other stores, but the items must meet the required specifications.

Family Administration Days

  • Thursday 19 January between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm
  • Friday 20 January between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm

Our Family Administration Days are the perfect time for families to pop into the College before school starts - our staff will be here to assist you.

In Junior School, families can:

  • Visit their child's class and meet their teacher for 2023.
  • Deliver their books and stationery to their new classroom.

All College families can:

  • Visit the Secondhand uniform shop (to make a purchase or drop off uniforms).
  • Purchase school bags, house shirts, Adventure Bibles or Jolly Dictionaries.
  • Update personal details or make account payments.
  • Hand in medication and complete medical authority forms (JS medication must be provided to JS reception and MS/SS medication provided to Student Services).
  • Purchase school bags, house shirts, Bibles or Jolly Dictionaries.

Laptop Hire 

Students are not required to purchase their own laptops. All Secondary students receive College laptops under our Laptop Hire Agreement. Students will be issued with their laptops in early in Term 1 2023.
