Learning extension for gifted & talented students
Our GATEWay (Gifted and Talented Education) program allows students to collaborate with peers who share similar intellectual levels, emphasising complexity and rigor in their thinking. Traditional gifted and talented programs typically focus on academic intelligence in specific subjects but often neglect creative and emotional intelligence. Our BCC program offers a personalised approach, centred around growing a holistic love for learning.
Tailored to suit student’s age and interests, GATEway classes offer challenging academic curriculum, national competitions, and specialised workshops.
Exceeding expectations
Under our GATEWay Academy, students attend World Scholar’s Cup, enter the Telstra Mayor’s Innovation Challenge, engage in debating, Ethics’ Olympiad, enjoy excursions and camps, and have access to renown scientists, authors, mathematicians, and other experts who visit our campus or engage virtually with our gifted students.
