BYOD

Since the beginning of 2016, Year 10, 11 and 12 students have been bringing a digital device of their choice to school every day. BYOD, or Bring Your Own Device, is a digital technology program providing families with a choice regarding the amount of money spent on a device for their child and the type of device based on individual preference and requirements. As part of our mission towards equipping young people to make a positive impact on the world around them, we see a need to educate young people to become digitally responsible citizens.

For all the latest details for the introduction of the BYOD Program, including system requirements, online safety, frequently asked questions, and College Digital Policy, visit the BCC BYOD website.

Bundaberg Christian College has partnered with JB Hifi to provide parents access to purchase BYOD devices through a customised online portal. The portal aims to make purchasing simpler by offering a range of devices that meet minimum specifications for the College. Parents may use this portal to select a device, accessories, warranty extensions and ADP (accidental damage protection) plans and payment options.

You will be required to enter your child's student number at the time of purchase (available on the parent portal).
