← Volunteers thanked in unique way

On a beautiful spring Friday with cool breeze and bright sun; a
little bit of gratitude was given to some of our valuable and hardworking
volunteers today!

Normally the college combines a thank you luncheon with our
year 11 catering students major assessment. Unfortunately due to COVID this
year that wasn't possible. BUT we didn't let that stop us from finding a
creative way to thank these valuable assets to our college community.

With thanks to our Principal Paul Thompson, Junior School
Receptionist Kellie Foley and Junior School captains Laura, Emma and Max; a
drive thru event was created where the captains presented each of our volunteers with a small
tasty gift (made and boxed by the same year 11s who would have catered lunch)
and Mr Thompson personally thanked each volunteer.

Its very different to how we have thanked and celebrated our volunteers
previously, but we hope that you still know how much we appreciate the way you
add value to our community and how much we appreciate the time and effort that
you put into helping in so many different areas of the Bundaberg Christian
