← Strong Performances At Inter-School Sport Finals

The Bundaberg District Secondary School Sports Finals day was postponed from the end of Term 1 until Thursday April 29th. Bundaberg Christian College had 5 teams across 3 sports represented. Our Secondary Sports Coordinator Toby Hibbard wraps up the day's action.

The BCC Grey Tennis team and Year 7/8 Girls Volleyball had tough losses early on in the day which destroyed our chances of making the final or winning the competition.

In Tennis’s case, we still managed to fight our way back to win 3rd place which was a pleasing result.

Our 11/12 Boys Volleyball team won early on to make it to the Grand Final but even though we had a very vocal cheer squad (thanks must go to the Year 7/8 Girls Volleyball team here) the boys went down to Shalom in the Final in 3 very tightly contested sets. Thanks goes to Mr Sam Hodges and his expertise in the finer points of Volleyball coaching.

Table Tennis is a different beast here at BCC. Under the expert guidance of Mrs Nikki Udal, BCC won (comfortably) both Division A and Division B. WOOOT! Well done to Table Tennis Students.

Thanks to all staff for your help in Summer Sport and thank you to parents and students for your hard work and grace this term. Winter sport will kick off early in Term 3.
