BCC Swimming Carnival
BCC Swimming Carnival was a huge success this year, with students participating in more events across the six year-levels than ever before. Being a hot day, students revelled in the opportunity for short sessions of free time in the pool and demonstrated great spirit as they enthusiastically called out the war cry and simply enjoyed each other’s company.
Fonu and Kirio tied for the House Spirit Award .
House Points: Kirio came in first with 1003 points, Bola in second with 786, followed by Fonu with 742.

BDSSS Swimming Carnival 4th March
Thirty-two students competed for BCC at the BDSSS Swimming Carnival. Competitors, siblings, parents and friends demonstrated great pride for our school, cheering on our athletes to finish out the evening with some great results.
Ben Cooper & Oliver Mathiesen were stand outs, winning all their races including the relay which was spectacular. The remaining boys also competed at a high level, receiving 3rds & 4th. The girls were equally competitive against the other schools with many 3rds, 4ths & 5ths. Thanks to the parents and siblings in attending the night and being there for that extra support and encouragement.
Interschool Sport: Term 1
BCC has shown great attendance in the BDSSS Interschool sport this term with 12 teams across 6 sports. We have had a mix of wins and losses, but the students have demonstrated great sportsmanship when competing and have been enjoying the time with their peers. Keep up the great work and encourage your team mates whereever possible. Show commitment, perseverance and value your team mates and coach whilst playing each week.
Reminder - Finals Day will be on the last day of this term – Friday 5 April.
