← National Science Week 2019
Initiated by the University of Queensland to promote STEM careers for high school students, National Science Week is an annual event. In week 6 this term, we, as BCC Science Ambassadors for 2019, enjoyed planning for this event. Throughout the week there were three days dedicated to specific sciences, a dry ice day and a fun day. On Thursday, we conducted some interactive dry ice experiments with the Year 6 students and gave them a taste of Middle and Senior School sciences. Other days included Chemistry, Physics and Biology-specific activities, consisting of demonstrations and many hands-on activities.
