← Modern History Excursion

The 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing has captured “historic” attention.  Our senior Modern History students enjoyed a visit to the Queensland Museum’s NASA – A Human Adventure exhibit with their own source-finding mission at the State Library of Queensland.  In addition, students considered an historic reading of ANZAC Square, noting the changing nature of commemorating Australia’s involvement in conflict.  Our students are to be commended for their participation, representation and thoughtfulness exhibited in all contexts throughout the day.  Mrs Lynne Howkins - Modern History Teacher
