← Junior School Swimmers making a splash

Students from Year 3 to Year 6 competed in our annual BCC Junior School Swimming Carnival in Term 4 this year due to the postponement of our swimming carnival in Term 1 due to Covid -19 restrictions.  The day was extremely close with great competition across all events and age groups.

It was a very hot day, but as the temperature rose, so did the students' performances, with many race records broken. Students competed in the usual races including freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke.

The novelty races provided a laugh with students competing in races for noodle, doughnut and ball relays.

Kirio claimed another carnival win and also won the House Spirit Award for their outstanding war cries and enthusiasm on the day!

Congratulations to all our students who swam with great determination and spirit.  Well done!
