Commemorating ANZAC Day

College Thursday, 28 Apr 2022

BCC Students commemorated ANZAC Day with a special whole school service and attended services across the Bundaberg region.

BCC’s service included performance from their Symphonic Band and a special presentation by BCC alumni, Flying Officer Kered James from the Royal Australian Air Force.

Flying Officer James talked about how important it was to commemorate ANZAC day—not only to remember those who had paid the ultimate sacrifice, but to reflect on the ANZAC spirit and how their values shape our country today.
On Monday 25 April BCC students, staff and their families represented the College at a number of services around the region including the Bargara Dawn Service, the Bundaberg Civic Service and Parade along Bourbong Street, the Elliott Heads Dawn Service and Elliott Heads Memorial Service.
