Prep – Year 6
Junior School
In Prep to Year 6, we sow the seeds of the Gospel into the hearts and minds of young people. Shaping character through Christian values and exceptional education.
Junior School –
a place to belong
Within a caring and safe environment, our dedicated teachers are committed to seeing each child reach their academic potential and discover their God-given gifts and talents. Our College values of Respect, Integrity, Servanthood and Excellence set the foundation for all that we do.
A nurturing environment where students grow in faith, knowledge and character, preparing them for a bright future.
Shaping Christian character
Without a doubt, what sets our College apart is the integration of a Biblical worldview into our curriculum and programs. Our pastoral care and Christian living framework place an emphasis on Christian values and essential life skills – including a biblical approach to conflict resolution and personal growth.
Academic excellence
With a strong focus on foundational numeracy and literacy, our Junior School empowers students to grow confidently towards their academic potential. Prep to Year 6 students enjoy a rich and varied learning program delivered by specialist teachers in Visual Art, Drama, Performing Arts, Music, Physical Education, Japanese (Years 5 & 6) and Library. Our GATEway Gifted and Talented Academy further extends and challenges students, helping them thrive and achieve at the highest level.
Outside of the classroom, students enjoy camps, clubs, inter-school competitions and access to our extensive music and sports programs.
Where leadership begins
In our Junior School, leadership skills are fostered early on. Through our Christian Living program, Bridge Builders, and focus on helping others through mission work and community outreach – even our youngest students learn what it means to contribute positively towards the world around them.
Year 6 leaders are provided with ample opportunities to grow in and demonstrate their leadership skills through captaincy roles, but also through Chapel, Reef Guardians, Sport, library, music, audio visual opportunities and Bridge Builders.
