Faith & Wellbeing
A foundation in Christ. A future transformed.
Our College was established in 1996 with a desire to see students receive an excellent education founded on a Christian worldview, and within a caring and supportive environment.
Faith
Our Christian faith underpins all our students’ learning. From daily devotions in the classroom, to understanding the curriculum from a Christian perspective to opportunities for students to explore their own faith through prayer and worship—BCC provides a safe and caring Christian environment for students to grow, learn, and discover their God-given potential.
Statement of faithCHAPLAINS
Our Chaplains provide a safe and caring presence within the College through active involvement in a wide range of everyday activities, including chapel services, student camps and programs, student support and counselling, pastoring care and mentoring.
Junior School and Secondary School chapel services are held each fortnight, with the opportunity for students to join the Fullstop Worship Band.
Psychologist
Our qualified psychologist is an integral part of our wellbeing team, providing professional counselling, guidance and pastoral support to members of our College community.
Working collaboratively with students, families and staff, our psychologist helps to nurture emotional wellbeing, build resilience and equip young people with strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Where additional support is beneficial, appropriate referrals and partnerships with external services can also be arranged to ensure each student receives the care they need to thrive.
