Enrol at Chrysalis
Early Learning Centre
Enrolling your child at Chrysalis Early Learning Centre is the first step in their formative journey. We nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in a caring, Christ-centred environment.
Beginning Their Early Learning Journey
At Chrysalis ELC, children from 15 months to Kindergarten explore, play, and grow in a nurturing Christian environment. With small class sizes, rich indoor and outdoor experiences, and strong connections with families, we provide a solid foundation for confidence, curiosity, and a smooth transition into Prep and lifelong learning.
Enrolment process
Step 1. Enrolment Enquiry Process
Please complete your details on the form below to receive a copy of our Parent Handbook. This booklet provides detailed information for prospective families about the services we offer across both our Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs.
Once your request has been received and reviewed by our team, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to visit the centre and enjoy a short tour of our facilities, where you are able to ask us any questions that you may have.
Following your short tour, families wishing to proceed will be invited to complete a Waiting List Application Form.
Step 2. Waiting List and Offers Process
Once your child has been placed on our Waiting List, our team will contact you if a position becomes available that aligns with your requested days and your place in the queue.
If you wish to accept the available days, you will be issued with an Enrolment Letter outlining the steps required to secure your child’s enrolment.
To confirm your child’s place, families are required to:
- Complete the online Enrolment Form via the link provided in the Enrolment Letter; and
- Pay the $55 non-refundable Enrolment Fee.
Enrolment is not confirmed until both of the above steps have been completed by the date indicated in your letter.
Step 3. “Come and Play” Sessions
Once your child’s enrolment has been confirmed, families are invited to arrange “Come and Play” sessions to support a smooth and positive transition into care.
These visits provide an opportunity for your child to spend time in their allocated room alongside their educators, become familiar with the environment, and begin building relationships with peers. Families will also gain insight into the daily routine and what to expect on their child’s first official day. We encourage these visits during the morning while the children are engaged in their activities, and before rest time.
Please note that a parent or guardian must remain present with their child for the duration of all transition visits.
During these sessions, families are also welcome to purchase Chrysalis uniforms (optional), talk to staff about CCS requirements and payment options, and learn how to use your Xplor Home app to ensure everything is ready for your child’s commencement.
Step 4. Enrolment Commences
We are deeply committed to nurturing each child’s individual sense of identity, value, and belonging. Our educators intentionally support children to grow in confidence, character, and capability as they learn and develop.
We celebrate every child as a unique creation of God and consider it a privilege to partner with families in helping each child’s God-given potential flourish throughout their early years journey with us.
