Teacher Aide - Design Technologies
College invites applications from diligent, practical, and relational individuals to join our Middle and Senior School Learning Enrichment team in a key support role within the Design and Technology faculty.
This full-time, term-time position plays a vital role in supporting teachers and students by maintaining equipment, assisting in practical classes, preparing materials, and ensuring a safe, well-organised workshop environment. The successful applicant will be confident in an industrial setting, demonstrate sound knowledge of WHS requirements, and be ready to serve in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment.
Employment Type: Full Time (5 days/week), school term time only.
Start: July 2025, Term 3.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting D&T teachers in class demonstrations and student learning
- Preparing and maintaining materials and equipment
- Performing basic workshop cleaning and activity setup
- Managing stock control, orders, and safety checks
- Liaising with trades and supporting administrative tasks
About You:
- Experience or qualifications in an industrial/trade environment
- Understanding of WHS in a workshop/school context
- Excellent organisational and relational skills
- A commitment to the mission and values of Christian education.
