Bundaberg Christian College understands and embraces the need to provide each student with a learning environment of excellence whilst being uniquely Christ-centred, safe, supportive, challenging and stimulating.

A key feature of the Junior School is the removal of the expectation that students remain in the year level matching their age. The Junior School proudly provides an environment where students capable of learning the curriculum above their year level in specific areas of gifting, are able to do so. Many children in the Junior School have Student Adjustment Plans to provide extension programs unique to the individual. The Junior School also provides multiple pathways to enrichment for all learners.

Our Junior School teachers have a passion for educating the whole child. Our teachers recognise each student as unique, striving to help them realise and develop their God-given potential to a level of personal excellence whilst being nurtured, respected and valued. Our goal is to equip each student to grow in knowledge and wisdom, and to develop confidence in the fact they are very special people, able to intelligently, positively and significantly impact the world around them.

Our ultimate prize is to help each child develop the ability and desire to manifest the Fruit of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, whilst achieving excellence in all facets of education.
