Chaplains Chat!

Hi everyone, I am the school chaplain here at Bundaberg Christian College for both primary and secondary students. My role as chaplain includes a variety of responsibilities and tasks. These include student support and counselling, visiting students at home and in hospital, pastoral care, mentoring, mediation between students and parents, coordinating chapel services, referring students to support agencies in our local community, praying with students and discipleship, attending school camps and being involved in various student activities.

I am blessed to be working at the BCC. God has taken me on a journey with my career, having come from a trade background, and has placed me here working as the chaplain. I have done two trades; refrigeration mechanic and electrician. (I worked in this area for fifteen years). I enjoy sport, in particular football (soccer), and enjoy playing sport with the students whenever I can.
